Cornice Adhesive is a plaster-based adhesive formulated for bonding paperfaced and plaster cornices to plasterboard surfaces and reinforcing joints in cornices. It can also be used for bonding other plaster decorative products, bonding back-blocks to plasterboard joints, laminating plasterboard sheets and caulking gaps in fire-rated wall constructions.

13mm Multistop 5 is ideal for commercial applications such as healthcare, hospitality and childcare where mould resistance and plasterboard durability to incidental collisions is required. For areas subject to greater traffic and impact levels; including hospital wards and corridors, we recommend Multistop 5HI (high impact).

Fire WetStop plasterboard has a specially manufactured fire and moisture resistant core making it an ideal solution for lightweight, wet area fire rated applications. With greater density than standard plasterboard, Fire WetStop also offers enhanced acoustic insulation properties.

Fire WetStop plasterboard has been specifically formulated for use in fire rated building systems. Fire WetStop is utilised in Multiframe, Partiwall®, IntRwall® and other proprietary systems providing lightweight fire and acoustic performance.

It is easily applied by hand or mechanical tools and can be sanded using mechanical sanding tools. Our FinalCote® finishing compound now comes in a smaller 4.8kg pail size.

Shaftliner panels are held in position by lightweight steel H- or I-section studs. Installation of Shaftliner fire barrier is carried out during the framing stage and does not require plasterboard screw fixing, jointing or finishing. The internal wall linings are installed at the plastering stage using conventional installation methods. Partiwall® permits easy incorporation of services and does not require penetration and perimeter treatment associated with traditional fire-rated systems. The Partiwall® separating wall system is suitable for attached dwellings Class 1a. For multi-residential buildings, Class 2, 3 and 9C, Knauf recommends the Multiframe timber framed construction system (subject to NCC limitations) or IntRwall® separating wall system.

For projects requiring higher impact resistance, such as commercial kitchens, science and trade classrooms, we recommend Multistop 4 HI (high impact) for extra toughness and durability. Multistop 4 has a minimum 10% overall recycled content and is certified by Good Environmental Choice Australia (GECA).
